Hey! I'm Rich, a glass sculptor and artist from Long Island NY. In 2016 I graduated from SUNY Purchase with a major in Arts Management and a minor in Visual Arts where I studied every form of art I could get my hands on. I fell in love with my current medium of expression in Borosilicate Glass where I've been playing with the skull form and space themes to visualize philosophical ideas in the truest nature of our reality. Both anatomical skeleton and space themes have been helpful in my pursuit of knowledge and answering many questions. The intention of my craft is to subconsciously ground the spectator into reality. To vibrate on a wave offset from the norm in order to remind us of our humanity and break the tension of mediocre complacency. Combined with good intent, art has the power to promote positive change.
